Kuwaiti Al-Anbaa reported that President Joseph Aoun told his visitors that “there is the option of war and the option of negotiation, and if there is someone who has a third option, let him present it,” stressing that he chose diplomacy and negotiation to end the ongoing wars on Lebanon’s soil since 1975. President Aoun admitted to his visitors that “things are not easy, but they are progressing quickly,” reassuringly relying on the fact that the United States, along with the Arab and European countries, will help Lebanon in the negotiating path and is very supportive of its choice. Kuwaiti Al-Anbaa also learned that President Aoun repeated to his visitors that “there is no strife inside Lebanon, even if some people on social media are trying to feed the seeds of strife.”
